Lubomir Stoev, Member of the Board of Expat Capital
Currently, Lubomir Stoev is also Managing Partner at AFG Invest GmbH (Vienna). His extensive professional experience also includes working at Vitosha Unternehmensbeteiligungs AG (Vienna) as Executive Director (2005-2007), as well as at a few other companies in Vienna. Mr. Stoev holds a Master of Science degree in Sociology and Economics from the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna. He speaks German, English and Russian and has basic knowledge of Serbo-Croatian.
Andrey Breshkov, Executive Director of Expat Beta REIT
Currently Andrey Breshkov is also a Managing Partner at Eurobroker – a leading insurance brokerage firm. Andrey is a member of the board of the publicly listed Sopahrma AD. He was also chairman of the board at Bulgaria Air. He has extensive experience in the financial sector, as well as in government. He worked as Director of the Company Management and Control Department in the Ministry of Transport and Communications (2003-2006) and as Director of the Sector and Regional Analysis Department in the Ministry of Economy (2001-2003). From 2000 till 2001 he was A&H Profit Center Manager at AIG Bulgaria. Andrey Breshkov holds two Master's Degrees – in Defense Industry Management from the University of National and World Economy, and an MBA from the American University in Bulgaria. He took several trainings in Economics, Industrial Policy, etc. in South Korea, Japan and Slovakia. He speaks English, Spanish and Russian.
Maria Divizieva, Managing Director of Expat Group
Prior to joining Expat Group, Maria Divizieva was Deputy Minister of State Administration and Administrative Reform, responsible for regional coordination, European affairs and European funds. Concurrently she was Director of the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme Administrative Capacity. Her past work experience includes serving as Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Communications (2003-2005) and in the Ministry of Economy (2001-2003). In 2001 Maria Divizieva was a court candidate in the Sofia City Court and a trainee in a law firm. Maria Divizieva holds Master's degree in Law from Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski". She speaks English and French.
Konstantin Sirakov, Portfolio Manager
Konstantin Sirakov joined the Expat team in June 2011 as Portfolio Manager responsible for the three mutual funds of Expat Asset Management – Expat New Europe Stocks, Expat New Europe Properties, and Expat Bonds, as well as for the private investment accounts. Prior to joining Expat he gained extensive experience working for investment intermediary companies – as Investment Consultant at Global Markets (2008-2011), Financial Analyst at SEE Securities (2006-2008), Dealer of Currency and Stocks at Delta Stock (2006). Konstantin holds a Master's Degree in Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. In 2008 he was certified as an Investment Consultant by the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission. Konstantin speaks English and German.
Marina Todorova, Head of Legal Affairs
Marina Todorova is a registered lawyer at Sofia College of Barristers and a domestic and international arbitration cases arbiter. From 2005 till 2009 Marina Todorova worked as a Lawyer at "Gruykin, Tanchovski, Velichkov" Law Firm in Sofia. She has a Master's degree in Law from Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski". In 2004 Marina attended a training course in Conduct of cases before the European Court in Strasbourg. In the same year she completed her government legal experience as a trainee lawyer at the Ministry of Justice. She speaks English and Russian.
Gergana Andonova, Head of Accounting
Gergana Andonova has almost 20 years of experience in bookkeeping. She worked as Head of Accounting at Best Foods, Delawere International Association, Kremikovtzi Trade, Eolika suvorovo. Her extensive professional experience also includes working as an External Accountant and a member of the Board at Kula Ring AD and Tool Equipment Factory. Gergana Andonova has a Master's degree in domestic Trade from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, and a doctor's degree from the Institute of International Economic Relations at the Bulgarian Academy of Science. She speaks Russian and English.
Evgenia Simeonova, Regulatory Relations Manager
Evgenia Simeonova has substantial experience as a Business Coordinator working at big international companies such as ExxonMobil, Amtest, etc. She graduated from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia with a Master's degree in International Economic Relations and has a qualification in Financial and Investment Analysis. She speaks English and Russian.
Nikola Veselinov, Financial Analyst
Nikola Veselinov holds Master's degree in Finance and Credit Management from the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography in Russia. In 2009 he interned with Allianz Bank Bulgaria, working in the area of corporate loans. In January 2011 Nikola joined the Expat Capital team. He speaks Russian and English.
Natalia Dimitrova, PR&Advertising Manager
Previously Natalia Dimitrova worked as a Chief Expert at the PR and Protocol Department of the Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform of Bulgaria (2005-2009), and as a PR Expert in the Presscenter of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (2004-2005). Natalia Dimitrova holds a Bachelor's degree in TV Journalism from Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski" and Master's degree in Advertising and Lifestyle from the New Bulgarian University. She is an author, producer and director of the TV essay "No Monitor" – a short documentary movie about how people with disabilities use IT and Internet. She speaks English.
Milena Velinova, Investor Relations Manager
Previously Milena Velinova worked as Monitoring and Publicity Senior Expert at the Management Authority of the Operational Programme Administrative Capacity (EU funds). From 2006 till April 2009 she was an Expert at the Cabinet of the Minister of State Administration and Administrative Reform. Milena Velinova holds two Master's degrees from Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski" – in Law and in International Relations. She speaks English, French and Spanish.
Viktoriya Ivanova, Operations and Compliance Officer
From 2006 till 2009 Viktoria Andreeva worked at First Investment Bank. Her professional experience includes closure of deals with financial instruments; tracking of deals and current notifications; accounts opening and management of deals with securities; providing depository and registration services related to financial instruments. Viktoria Ivanova is studying Business Administration at the International Business School, Sofia. She speaks English.
Iva Popova, Research Analyst
Iva Popova joined the Expat Group team in October 2009. Previously she worked as a Junior Expert at the PR and Protocol Department of the Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform of Bulgaria (2008-2009). She has several years of experience in tourism and hospitality industry. Iva Popova holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations and a minor in European Studies from the American University in Bulgaria. She took courses of Business Administration in AUBG College of Business. She speaks English.
Emil Slavov, Legal Associate
Emil Slavov is studying Law at Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski". He had an internship at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and worked in an educational training company at the National High School in Business and Finance. Emil also participated in the educational programme of Atanas Burov Foundation and the Financial Supervision Commission about the non-banking financial sector in Bulgaria. He speaks English and German.
Expat Capital has a policy to support and train young professionals. Each year, the company accepts interns from various universities from Bulgaria and abroad. For a period of one to several months, they gain knowledge and practical experience in finance, law and other fields. At the end of the internship programme, each of them receives a certificate for the successful training.
